Check if the power cable is properly connected and if the printer is receiving power.

  1. Check for software setting or program command errors.
  2. Replace with a suitable label or ribbon.
  3. Ensure labels or ribbons are not empty.
  4. Check if the label is jammed or tangled.
  5. Make sure the print mechanism is closed and the print head is properly positioned.
  6. Confirm the sensor is not blocked by paper or labels.
  7. If using a cutter, check for abnormal cutter function or that it’s operating correctly.
  1. Make sure the label is not placed upside down and is suitable for the printer.
  2. Verify the correct printer driver is selected.
  3. Ensure the correct label type and print mode (thermal transfer vs direct thermal) are set.
  1. Clear the jam carefully.
  2. If a label is stuck on the thermal print head, clean it using a soft cloth with alcohol.
  1. Check if label or ribbon is stuck on the thermal print head.
  2. Look for errors in your label design software.
  3. Review the start position settings.
  4. Ensure the ribbon is not wrinkled.
  5. Check for friction between the ribbon shaft and platen roller. If necessary, contact your reseller to replace the platen roller.
  6. Confirm the power supply is sufficient.
  1. Check if the thermal print head is dirty or dusty.
  2. Use the internal command “~T” to test the full printing width.
  3. Verify the label/media quality.
  1. Check if the sensor is covered by dust or paper.
  2. Make sure the label liner is appropriate; contact your reseller for guidance.
  3. Ensure the label roll is aligned with the label width guide.
  1. Check the label height setting for errors.
  2. Ensure the sensor is clean and not covered by dust.
  1. Check the print darkness setting.
  2. Inspect the thermal print head for glue, dirt, or stains.
  1. Make sure the label is loaded straight into the printer.
  1. Check if the label thickness exceeds 0.16mm.
  2. Ensure the cutter is installed correctly.
  1. Confirm the cutter is properly installed.
  2. Check if the paper feed rods are sticky or obstructed.
  1. Inspect the stripper sensor for dust or obstruction.
  2. Make sure the label is installed correctly for stripping.
  1. Ensure the Thermal Print Head (TPH) is properly installed.
  2. If the TPH’s EEPROM is faulty, you may need to replace the print head.
